We will check every group that is established in CSC that it meets these requirements and immediately delete those that do not. This only applies to Groups. It does not apply to Users. Users may join CSC as descibed above.

While the administrators and moderators of CSC will attempt to remove or edit any generally objectionable material as quickly as possible, it is impossible to review every activity. Therefore you acknowledge that all postings made to CSC express the views and opinions of the author and not the administrators, moderators or webmaster (except for posts by these people) and hence will not be held liable.

You agree not to post any abusive, obscene, vulgar, slanderous, hateful, threatening, sexually-oriented or any other material that may violate any applicable laws. Doing so may lead to you being immediately and permanently banned (and your service provider being informed). You agree that the webmaster, administrator and moderators of this community have the right to remove, edit, move or close any topic at any time should they see fit.

By registering you agree to be bound by these and the following conditions.

Only users who have registered with full registration data including a valid e-mail address are permitted to post in CSC areas. Failure to register, or registration with false information, especially misrepresentation of any kind, including email address, is grounds for immediate blocking of access. Additionally, it is the member's responsibility to update and maintain a valid email address with their membership.

Use of user names is limited to one per user. Those who have been locked, barred, secured, or banned are not permitted to create a new account as a way to circumnavigate the consequences for violations of the Terms of Service and CS reserves the right to terminate any new accounts which have been established in this manner as well as remove any content posted.

CSC users understand that, notwithstanding our commitment to providing the safest and most family friendly values sensitive community environment possible, participating in CSC is done at one's own risk. Young children should never participate alone and CS cannot be responsible for the safety of children in community areas.

Users must be at least 13 years old to participate in CSC.

You will not use CSC areas for any unlawful purpose.

If you are using CSC to make drug deals, to promote porn or to plan other illegal activities you are in the wrong place.

Any language, text, data, information or graphics that could be considered vulgar, pornographic, obscene, harmful, threatening, abusive, harassing, defamatory, hateful, unlawful; that are racially, ethnically or otherwise objectionable; or that violate any copyright or other intellectual property rights of any person will not be promoted or transmitted via chat or the community.

Referring to someone in any non-courteous manor or their statements as being fascist is in violation of this rule. It is expected that users can discuss topics without resorting to name calling or the use of such terminology.

Referring to particular vulgar terms or words in any manner that brings them to mind such as purposefully misspelling or using symbols to suggest bad language or referring to something by a letter that identifies the word is unacceptable.

Creating a handle or making comments that are sexually suggestive is a violation of this rule.

Linking to a site that contains information that violates this TOS is unacceptable.

You will not harass, threaten, embarrass or distress users, either in the community itself or via personal email, phone, physical mail or in person. You will not engage in name-calling or personal attacks in the course of discussion or debate. You will not post inflammatory remarks simply for the purpose for evoking reaction or starting fights with other community members (Often referred to as "trolling"). Overall, promoting a spirit of divisiveness in the chat and the community will not be tolerated.

Attacking the character or motives of someone who differs with your view or denying that he or she is a family oriented individual is unacceptable.

You will not ask users for the phone number, physical, email or instant message or other identifying information of a third party that is not present, nor provide such information if asked. Both the one asking for such information and the one supplying it will be viewed as violating this rule.

If a User asks you for another Users telephone number, home address, or email address and you provide it then both you and the other User will be in violation of this rule. If a User asks you for your phone number that would not be a violation. Additionally, do not post or otherwise distribute someone's "private message" to you or an email sent by another user without first obtaining their consent.

You should always view CSC as a public meeting place. To the extent possible, all conversations are the property of CS. By participating you have granted CS the license to use them for any purpose whatsoever. For this reason you may not post any material for which you do not own the copyright.

"Private Messages" may be recorded by logs as a matter of course and may be viewed by CS staff. "Private Messages" are not considered the private property of the sender or recipient of the messages. The "Private Message" system is a free service to Community members. If a member's account is disabled they will not be able to retrieve any saved "Private Messages."

Chat conversations can and will be monitored by Chat staff, often without the knowledge of those present. All Chat conversation is logged and transcripts of conversations are the property of CS and can be used for any purpose whatsoever.

CS promises to protect the identities of chat participants by changing chat handles and modifying any personal information revealed in chat conversation in any public use of chat transcripts.

Simple courtesy suggests that chat users will only want to stay in chat rooms if their presence is welcomed.

You will not disrupt the normal flow of dialog in the community or act in a manner that negatively affects other members, including and perhaps especially in the defense of family value, in offering unwelcome spiritual counsel, or in debating issues.

Respect someone's request if they say they don't believe in a value or are doubting their value and express that they do not wish to discuss it, don't try to "cram" the value down their throat. If another User disagrees with you do not immediately jump to the conclusion that they are not truly family oriented just because they disagree, as there are differences of opinion in all aspects of the world.

You will not impersonate in the community any person, including CS employees and volunteer staff.

No creating handles or making statements falsely indicating that you represent CS as a volunteer moderator or other employee – unless you actually do.

You will not post disruptive content, such as chain letters or meaningless text.

You will not attempt to "spam", "crack," "hack," or "bomb" the community. You will not attempt to access moderator-only sections or features.

Posting the same or similar message in more than one place in the community is considered spamming and is not permitted.

Do not try to crash the site by cracking into the code or hacking the server or sending mass amounts of posts or bomb or in any way do anything that would cause the site to go down or access secure areas.

You will not post or transmit either in the Community, or via Private Message any unsolicited advertising of websites, products or promotional materials or any other forms of solicitation, unless it specifically and only within your established group.

No posting asking everyone to send you a dollar or other pyramid schemes. No posting or advocating participation in any pyramid schemes or surveys. No attempts to recruit people for any service.

No posting or sending people Private Messages telling them to come check out your new website or community, or any other sort of advertisement, unless it is specifically and only within your established group.

Discussion of sexual issues in any other than a serious and responsible manner is prohibited including "flirtatious" consensual conversation of an intimate nature.

You will not promote by repeated statements, by provision of URLs to other Web sites, by recommendation to engage in non-community activities such as watching programs, reading books, or attending events, or by any other means, beliefs or teachings contrary to those of Family Values as interpreted by CS in its sole discretion.

Refrain from making statements or URLs which promote the acceptability of the homosexual lifestyle, adult entertainment, sexual immorality or pagan and false religions. No repeated posting of URLs to sites which have content that would violate the Terms of Service or other majorly accepted scopes of Family Value beliefs as interpreted by CS at their sole discretion. If you are unsure about a site or content please direct your question to our staff. This rule also applies to any material whether it be on the web, in print, on video, or on audio.

CS reserves the right to determine what forms of Family Values can be safely practiced within the community and to prohibit at its sole discretion any form that it deems unsafe.

Please do not use community areas to air your grievances against other fellow members. If you have observed a violation of the Terms of Service please contact CS staff. (This includes violations or allegations of inappropriate actions by the volunteer staff and administration.)

We want this Community to be a fun place to learn and interact with others from a Family Value world view. If you have a problem with someone either take it up with them privately or report the violation.

CS has designated certain users in the community, commonly called Moderators, to moderate the discussions. All users are required to immediately comply with any moderator directive. Failure to do so may result in loss of access to the site. If you believe a moderator directive is incorrect you should not discuss it in the community. Instead send an email to the Community Manager who will review the problem and make final judgment.

CS reserves the right to:

  • edit any discussion, post, or chat room title for any reason at our sole discretion
  • respond to the violation of any of the above Terms of Service with any of the responses available to Community administrators and moderators without warning including involuntary movement to another area, "booting" (involuntary expulsion from chat and the community), and various forms of prevention of access to all community services including "Private Messages" for any duration of time including permanently at its sole discretion.
  • to report any violations of the Terms of Service to law enforcement and/or the Internet Community Alliance.
  • to bar, restrict, block any user including Internet Community Alliance offenders for any reason as well as remove any content or chat rooms at our sole discretion.

Further ...

We encourage you to read our Privacy Policy.

You own all of the content and information you post on CSC, and you can control how we share your content through your privacy and application settings. In order for us to use certain types of content and provide you with CSC, you agree to the following:

  • For content that is covered by intellectual property rights, like photos and videos, you specifically give us the following permission, subject to your privacy and application settings: you grant us a non-exclusive, transferable, sub-licensable, royalty-free, worldwide license to use any such content that you post on or in connection with CSC. This agreement ends when you delete your content or your account (except to the extent your content has been shared with others, and they have not deleted it).
  • When you delete said content, it is deleted in a manner similar to emptying the recycle bin on a computer. However, you understand that removed content may persist in backup copies for a reasonable period of time (but will not be available to others).
  • We always appreciate your feedback or other suggestions about CSC, but you understand that we may use them without any obligation to compensate you for them (just as you have no obligation to offer them).

We do our best to keep CSC safe, but we cannot guarantee it. We need your help in order to do that, which includes the following commitments:

  • You will not send or otherwise post unauthorized commercial communications to users (such as spam).

  • You will not bully, intimidate, or harass any user.
  • You will not post content that is hateful, threatening, pornographic, or that contains nudity or graphic or gratuitous violence.
  • You will not develop or operate a third party application containing, or advertise or otherwise market alcohol-related or other mature content without appropriate age-based restrictions.
  • You will not use CSC to do anything unlawful, misleading, malicious, or discriminatory.
  • You will not facilitate or encourage any violations of this Agreement.

CSC users provide their real names and information, and we need your help to keep it that way. Here are some commitments you make to us relating to registering and maintaining the security of your account:

  • You will not provide any false personal information on CSC, or create an account for anyone other than yourself without permission.

  • You will not post content or take any action on CSC that infringes someone else's rights or otherwise violates the law.

  • If you repeatedly infringe other people's intellectual property rights, we will disable your account when appropriate.
  • You will not use our copyrights or trademarks (including CitiSlicker name and CitiSlicker Logo) without our written permission.

  • You will not post anyone's identification documents or sensitive financial information on CSC.

If you violate these terms and agreement, or otherwise create possible legal exposure for us, we can stop providing all or part of CSC to you. We will generally try to notify you, but have no obligation to do so. You may also delete your account or disable your application at any time. In all such cases, this Agreement shall terminate.

The laws of the State of Illinois will govern this Agreement, as well as any claim that might arise between you and us, without regard to conflict of law provisions.

If anyone brings a claim against us related to your actions or your content on CSC, you will indemnify and hold us harmless from and against all damages, losses, and expenses of any kind (including reasonable legal fees and costs) related to such claim.

WE TRY TO KEEP CSC UP, BUG-FREE, AND SAFE, BUT YOU USE IT AT YOUR OWN RISK. WE ARE PROVIDING CSC "AS IS" WITHOUT ANY EXPRESS OR IMPLIED WARRANTIES INCLUDING, BUT NOT LIMITED TO, IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE WILL NOT BE LIABLE TO YOU FOR ANY LOST PROFITS OR OTHER CONSEQUENTIAL, SPECIAL, INDIRECT, OR INCIDENTAL DAMAGES ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH THIS AGREEMENT OR CSC, EVEN IF WE HAVE BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES. OUR AGGREGATE LIABILITY ARISING OUT OF THIS AGREEMENT OR CSC WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF ONE HUNDRED DOLLARS ($100) OR THE AMOUNT YOU HAVE PAID US IN THE PAST TWELVE MONTHS. APPLICABLE LAW MAY NOT ALLOW THE LIMITATION OR EXCLUSION OF LIABILITY OR INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES, SO THE ABOVE LIMITATION OR EXCLUSION MAY NOT APPLY TO YOU. IN SUCH CASES, CS'S LIABILITY WILL BE LIMITED TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW.

Finally ...

  • This Agreement makes up the entire agreement between the parties regarding CSC, and supersedes any prior agreements.
  • If any portion of this Agreement is found to be unenforceable, the remaining portion will remain in full force and effect.
  • If we fail to enforce any of this Agreement, it will not be considered a waiver.
  • Any amendment to or waiver of this Agreement must be made in writing and signed by us.
  • You will not transfer any of your rights or obligations under this Agreement to anyone else without our consent.
  • All of our rights and obligations under this Agreement are freely assignable by us in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, or by operation of law or otherwise.
  • Nothing in this Agreement shall prevent us from complying with the law.
  • This Agreement does not confer any third party beneficiary rights.
