We do not sell or rent to anyone any of our member lists, names or addresses. The CITISLICKER family (CS) recognizes the importance of protecting the privacy of all information provided by members of CS and users of our related websites. We created the following policy guidelines with a fundamental respect for our users' and members' right to privacy to guide our relationships. You may need to provide CS with personal information such as: name, email address, postal shipping address and other.

Information Collected by CS

CS collects information about users and members during their participation in certain activities on our websites, including, but not limited to, contests, polls, membership enrollment, and orders. In all cases, users and members provide voluntary information about themselves. We do not collect personal information during web page requests.

Use of Information

CS uses such information for: website registration; enabling sales and other transactions; processing payments and settlement, measuring; improving, and customizing our services; and fulfilling other technical, logistical, financial, tax, legal, compliance, administrative, or back office functions.

CS will not reveal any personal information that users and members provide to us to any third party without their permission. We do use the information to gather broad demographic information in general. This information does not contain anything that can identify users or members personally. We may combine demographic information to provide profiles, in aggregate form, about our users and members and their preferences. We may share this composite information with our advertisers and associates to help them better understand our services, but CS does not give information about individual users.

Using e-mail and postal mail addresses provided by users and members, CS periodically sends out newsletters and promotional materials about services and products offered by CS and its advertisers, associates and members. Users can indicate that they do not wish to receive e-mail or postal mail information from CS or its advertisers. Third parties will not contact our users through the use of our lists except through advertisements within our newsletters and websites.

Upon request, CS will remove users and members (and their information) from our database or permit them to "opt-out" of any further newsletters or contacts.

Although CS does not specifically seek to obtain any information from children, there is nothing to stop them from registering their information. We urge children only to give us any information after they have discussed it with their parents.

Cookies and logs

CS collects information related to your use of our website using cookies and log information. Cookies are small files containing strings of text stored on your computer. CS uses cookies to authenticate you as a user when you log in, track your session, deliver content specific to your preferences and interests, and provide other functions. Log information may include web requests, Internet Protocol address, operating system, browser type, browser language, date and time of your request, and cookies that may uniquely identify your browser. CS uses this information to enhance the functionality of the website and to make your access more convenient, secure, and efficient. CS also uses information gathered from logs and cookies to monitor website performance; improve website design, functionality, and security; and assemble web analytics and activity trends. CS retains such information for as long as reasonably required for business purposes or as reasonably required to comply with our legal obligations.

Google Analytics

CS uses Google Analytics, a web analytics service. Google Analytics uses cookies and other means to help cs analyze how users use the site. See Google’s Privacy Policy.

Other

CS may disclose personal information where: required by law or by an order or requirement of a court, administrative agency, or other government entity, or by court rules concerning the production of records; CS has reasonable grounds to believe that use or disclosure is necessary to protect the rights, privacy, property, or safety of our users or other people; CS has reasonable grounds to believe that the information relates to the breach of an agreement or violation of the law that has been, is being, or is about to be committed; it is necessary for fraud protection, risk reduction, or the establishment or collection of funds owed to us; it is necessary to enforce or apply our legal agreements, to pursue remedies, or to limit damages to CS; the information is public; you have provided consent or with your direction; or other reasons allow it or other laws require it. When we are required or permitted to disclose information, we will not disclose more information than is necessary to fulfill the disclosure purpose. CS may disclose aggregate or statistical information to our business partners, for public relations purposes, or other purposes.

Security

CS combines technical and physical safeguards with employee policies and procedures to protect your information. We work to protect your personal information during transmission by using Secure Sockets Layer software, which encrypts the information that you provide online at our website. We will use commercially reasonable efforts to protect your information. We will also continue to assess new technology for protecting information and upgrade our information security systems when appropriate.

Further, we permit only authorized CS employees to access any personal information. If an employee misuses personal information, we may take disciplinary action, up to and including termination of employment. If any third party individual or organization misuses personal information, we will take action, up to and including termination of any agreement between CS and that individual or organization.
