Posting and Picture Limits

Do you ever get frustrated with facebook when trying to enter a post? You finished writing your greatest, new, earth-shattering story but when you try to post it you get an error message saying it's too long? Then you spend the next half hour condensing it to make if fit within the limits. Unfortunately, you've just removed all the important and interesting stuff. That won't happen here. Whether you are entering a blog, a discussion like this, a description of a file or photo, or a comment about any post, there is no limit to what you can add. That's a nice feature.
As for photos, we have limited them to 1 meg each. Your video screen can only recognize a certain resolution so there is no reason to upload huge pictures that just waste space. If your camera is set to take pictures at the highest resolution, or you try to upload a picture that is huge, you'll have to use photoshop or some other graphic program to shrink the picture in either or both size and resolution. Just remember pictures need to be no bigger than 1 meg for them to upload properly.
