Spam and Unappropriate Postings

Unfortunately, spam is a fact of life in cyberspace. Spammers are mean folks that prey on the livelyhood of well-meaning people and services. I don't have the slightest idea what spammers hope to gain by bothering us. We don't want them and we don't want what they have to offer.

Here there are two kinds of spammers. Those that register and post garabage data and links to their profile and those that post garbage blogs. It'll be obvious to you who they are.

Any commerce unrelated to the Peoria area community is strictly forbidden. It is our policy to remove these users and their garbage immediately. There are times when we must sleep and we don't get it done immediately, but please, rest assured, we are watching and react as soon as possible. As we grow, there may be times when we miss something. If you find what you consider spam or unappropriate postings, select the "Report this" on the lefthand menu or send me a personal message. We will react quickly.

Please, let's together police this place and keep it clean and useful. Thank you for your valuable assistance.

Note: Although this spam may post at any time, more often than not, because it comes from other countries and vampires, it comes in the middle of our night. I always check and remove it the first thing in the morning and often when I'm working late at night.

Due to the huge number of unauthorized spam blogs, we have initiated a moderation policy whereas all blogs, as groups, require authoriztion before public posting. When you write a legit blog or open a legit group, we will authorize it. The rule is simple, don't break the posting rules and your blogs will be authorized and your groups will be open; otherwise, they will never make it to the public's eyes. Spammers, you are wasting your time.
